Beatles Artwork On Penny Lane

We headed down to Smithdown Road for the first time in many months, eager to see what had changed. With no set plan, we decided to simply amble along, enjoying the sights and doing a bit of window shopping along the way. As we continued our walk, we eventually found ourselves near the Penny Lane bus terminus. There, the old bus shelter—once converted into the SGT Pepper Bistro—still stood, though it has sat unused for many years. However, since our last visit, we noticed a welcome touch of creativity. The bistro doors have been brightened with new Beatles-themed artwork. It was a delightful discovery that added a splash of colour and nostalgia to our leisurely afternoon stroll.
