Coffee And Cake At Petrichor

We first discovered Petrichor about a year ago—a local coffee house that also serves something stronger when coffee won’t cut it. The reason we hadn’t tried it sooner? Parking. In a word, it’s a nightmare. Plus, they don’t serve breakfast, so we never considered it for a Sunday morning stop. Finally, we decided it was time and headed over.

We arrived just after they open at 10am. A good sized open space with tables around the sides and a couple of high tops in the middle of the floor. Plenty of room around the tables to feel comfortable even when it starts to fill up.
Besides the adult beverages, a good selection of coffee and cakes are available.

They serve Crosby Coffee, which isn’t our favorite blend, but we had no complaints about the quality. We also added a Milky Way brownie and a Jammie Dodger blondie to our order—both were absolutely scrummy, simply irresistible.

Friendly staff and quick service, even on a busy Sunday morning. While the coffee isn’t quite to our taste, we’d gladly return for something stronger or to grab some of their delicious cakes to go.
A great local spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend giving Petrichor a try.
