Llanfairfechan Beach On An Overcast Morning

After breakfast we headed out to walk along Llanfairfechan Beach. We decided to stayed on the promenade this time as we were expecting rain and wanted to be back at the car before it started. We walked from one end of the prom to the other before heading back to the car as the rain started.

After a hearty breakfast, we set out for a leisurely stroll along Llanfairfechan Beach. This time, we opted to stick to the promenade, mindful of the forecast that predicted rain later in the morning. The decision felt practical yet still rewarding, as the promenade offered sweeping views of the coastline without the risk of getting caught in the wet sand if the skies opened up.

We began our walk at one end of the promenade, enjoying the gentle breeze carrying the briny scent of the sea. The rhythmic cries of seabirds and the sound of distant waves added a soothing soundtrack to our outing. Along the way, we passed charming benches overlooking the water and a few locals out walking their dogs.

By the time we reached the far end of the promenade, the clouds had begun to gather, darkening the horizon. Taking it as our cue, we turned back, quickening our pace slightly. Just as we reached the car, the first raindrops began to fall, a soft patter on the windshield signaling the start of a gentle shower. While brief, the walk left us with a sense of calm and connection to the natural beauty of the area—a simple pleasure to treasure despite the rain.
