Sunday Morning Vibes at Daily Dose Coffee in Aughton

It had been a couple of years since we last stopped by Daily Dose Coffee in Aughton. This local favorite hasn’t lost its charm—just minutes after opening, it was already buzzing with early customers. We seated ourselves at a table and settled in, eager to explore the menu. Things had changed a little since our last visit, but it was still familiar. We decided to stick with our favourites, and I headed up to the counter to place our order

Our lattes arrived in no time. Maybe not our go-to blend, but still smooth, well-crafted, and just what we needed to kick off the morning.

We stuck with our go-to choices and, as always, shared everything between us. The eggs were well cooked— flavourful with just a dash of extra seasoning needed. The sausages were solid, maybe not the best we’ve ever had, but still really satisfying. Both were served on hearty wholemeal bread that definitely stepped things up from your typical café slice. All in all, a tasty, well-prepared breakfast that left us full.

Overall, we had no complaints about our visit to Daily Dose. It’s clearly a popular spot—every time we’ve stopped in, it’s been buzzing with customers. That said, it’s not a place we’d rush back to. For us, it feels a little too sterile, lacking in warmth or character. Maybe it’s just a personal preference. However, there are cafés where the environment is more welcoming, and the atmosphere and staff make you want to linger. This just didn’t quite hit that mark for us.
