The Junction Patisserie in Birkdale

Popped in to Birkdale a few months ago and decided to try The Junction Patisserie which was new to us. Located close to Birkdale Station, it has some great views of the passing trains. The Liverpool bound trains do make it rumble a little. The coffee was good and the lemon drizzle was very tasty.

The only downside is the small space. In good weather you can sit outside but there are only 4 tables inside, which are quite small. This could lead to disappointment during the colder months. They were planning on adding tables to the second floor, hopefully that has now been done.

The friendly welcome, coffee and cake selection would make this one to try.
